Industries we work in

Six years of consumer brands, and the categories where the arithmetic is hardest.

The Shizz is a boutique D2C performance marketing studio working with FMCG, F&B, Nutrition and Consumer Goods brands from Bangalore and Kolkata. Across six years that is 160+ brands, ₹150 Cr+ in ad spend managed and ₹450 Cr+ in revenue attributed, at a 3.8× average ROAS. The pages below collect the published work by category.

Food and Beverage

Ghee, honey, chocolate, tea, sweets and pantry ranges. Small baskets, real seasonality, and a shelf that is louder than the product.

FMCG

Everyday packaged goods, wide catalogues and repeat purchase, sold against three other apps carrying the same item.

Nutrition and wellness

Clinical nutrition, supplements and ayurvedic wellness, where the claim is regulated and the trust has to be earned before the sale.

Common questions

Which industries does The Shizz specialise in?

FMCG, Food and Beverage, Nutrition and Consumer Goods. The studio does not take on categories outside consumer, because the arithmetic of a small repeat-purchase basket is not the same as the arithmetic of a considered high-ticket sale, and the playbooks do not transfer.

Why does category specialisation matter for performance marketing?

Because the levers differ. A food brand lives on repeat purchase and hero SKUs, a nutrition brand has to clear a trust barrier before the first order, and an FMCG catalogue has to survive being available on three other apps. Media buying that ignores those differences ends up optimising the wrong number.

Do you work with brands outside these categories?

The published work is consumer brands, and that is where the studio is honest about being useful. If a brand sits outside these categories the Growth Audit will say so rather than take the engagement.
