Brand and packaging design for D2C brands

Identity, packaging, labels and store design built by the same team that spends media against them daily, so the brand survives contact with the feed, the shelf and the checkout.

What this is

Brand identity, packaging and label systems, product-page and store design, and retail-ready assets for consumer brands. The difference is where it gets judged: most identity work is presented in a boardroom and then dies on contact with a 9:16 story. Ours ships into live ad accounts, quick-commerce tiles and shelves within days, because the design department sits inside the same house as the media buying.

This work has always run inside our creative system — Parasbaagh's identity, the Pure Whites store, Sri Sri Tattva's visual rebuild. This page names it as its own practice, because brands increasingly come to us for the design first.

A pack that needs to be explained loses at the shelf and in the feed alike. Design is the argument, made instantly.

How it actually runs

Identity built for the feed, not the boardroom

On Parasbaagh the brand identity and positioning were built rooted in Ayurvedic tradition, then proven immediately in performance ads rather than left in a guidelines PDF. Sales rose 300% with Meta ROAS at 3×, which is what an identity is for: not admiration, recognition that converts.

Packaging and labels that read at thumbnail size

The pack shot is the most reused advertising asset a consumer brand owns, so every packaging decision here is checked at 80 pixels before it is approved at full size. Pure Whites needed product-forward frames with visible texture and packaging that still reads at thumbnail size, because that is the size at which most of India first meets a D2C product.

Labels that survive FSSAI reality

Declarations, veg marks, dates, net quantity and allergen lines are constraints to design with, not stickers to add after the artwork is signed off. For food, beverage and nutrition brands the compliance layer is drafted into the layout from the first version, so the pack never has to choose between legal and legible.

Store and product-page design as a conversion surface

Pure Whites started as a blank page. The build order was deliberate: a CRO-first Shopify store, then the content pipeline to feed it, then paid traffic through it. The result was ₹1,000 to ₹90 lakhs a month in 8 months, sessions up 3060%, funnel conversion up 350%. Store design here is not decoration around a buy button; it runs on the same team as CRO and web development.

One visual system across pack, feed and ads

On Sri Sri Tattva the equity was already earned; what needed rebuilding was the layer that translates equity into content, one visual language across photography, social and ads, and that engine became a core driver behind ₹20 crore+ in sales. On Zama Organics the register was pulled back to a single premium standard so the ads looked like they came from the same company as the packaging. That coherence is free reach.

Rebrands only when the equity says so

The most valuable design opinion is sometimes no. Sri Sri Tattva's brand was deliberately left untouched. Kroslo's engagement was scoped as a 25-day sprint with no rebrand and no site rebuild. If your brand does not need a redesign, we will say so before you spend on one.

Design was a named part of a wider engagement on each of these. The figures are the whole engagement's, not design alone.

Questions, answered

What does brand and packaging design cost for a D2C brand in India?

Identity projects with a credible agency typically run between ₹1.5 lakh and ₹8 lakh+ depending on scope, and packaging systems are usually priced per SKU family on top. The more useful question is whether the design gets tested against sales: our design work ships into live ad accounts within days, so it is judged on click-through and conversion, not on taste.

Do you design packaging for food brands specifically?

Yes, that is the specialisation: FMCG, food and beverage, and nutrition. FSSAI declarations, veg marks, dates and net-quantity rules are designed in from the first draft rather than stickered on at the end, and every pack is checked at thumbnail size because the same artwork has to win on a shelf, on a quick-commerce tile and in a Meta ad.

Can you redesign our brand without breaking what works?

The first honest deliverable is whether you should redesign at all. On Sri Sri Tattva the brand equity was already there and did not need touching, so the work rebuilt the layer that translates equity into content instead. On Kroslo the engagement explicitly avoided a rebrand and a site rebuild. When the answer is yes, the sequence protects what customers already recognise.

Do you build the website too?

Yes, with the same CRO and web team behind our store builds. Pure Whites started from a blank page: a CRO-first Shopify store, then the content pipeline, then paid media through it, and the brand went from ₹1,000 to ₹90 lakhs a month in 8 months with funnel conversion up 350%.

How is design different when the same team runs the ads?

The feedback loop. A pack shot becomes an ad within days, and the ad account reports back what the design actually does: click-through, conversion, cost per result. Design decisions stop being arguments about preference and become measurable calls, which is why the visual system work on Sri Sri Tattva could be tied to ₹20 crore+ in sales.
